The St Andrews Trust hosts events throughout the year to help us raise funds for our projects in Malawi and supported charities in the UK. These events are attended by a wonderful mix of individual and corporate supporters and we are grateful for your continued support. The 'The Tartan Ball 2010 - The BIGGEST One Yet!'

Champagne Reception, Photo Studio and entertainment zone, Delicious 3 course meal, Lots of prizes to be won, Live Music from The Floorstompers, including Jim Prime of Deacon Blue, Performances from Mercury Rising - Freddie Mercury Tribute (Video of MR Performing in Las Vegas), Disco to close.

'WHY SHOULD YOU JOIN US?!'
If the list of entertainment above isn't enough there is another VERY valid reason. The Tartan Ball is the main fundraising event for The St Andrews Trust, a Scottish charity which raises money to support a village in Malawi which they 'adopted' during the MAKE POVERTY HISTORY Campaign in 2005. Since then the charity has continued it's support in building a school, providing emergency support to build a maternity ward at the local hospital, built a water well in the village, supplied food, transport and clothing. The funds you help us raise this year will ensure a regular feeding programme can be put in place to ensure the children in the village receive a minimum of two healthy cooked meals each week. The feeding station is going to be managed by the women in the village and will help them to tackle the malnutrition that each child is a victim of. Continued on next page...

5th September - Ladies "Carnival of Delights" Lunch and Fashion Show.

Venue::  The Crowne Plaza, Glasgow
Times:: 12.30pm till 6pm

The 'Carnival of Delights' ladies day will be full of sumptuous delights!  Everything today will be OTT Glamour and tempting treats!

The day begins with a sparkling reception and exclusive photo and shopping experience
Our handsome male hosts will be on hand to show you to your seat and serve you drinks
Delicious 2 course lunch, followed by live entertainment from the ever enchanting Cheri Treiffel - Drag Queen Extraordinaire!
Live Fashion Show - featuring Glasgow sportsmen from Glasgow Warriors and Celtic Football

PLUS... - There are plenty of opportunities to have dramatic diva pictures taken in our professional pop-up photo studio, exclusive shopping experiences and plenty of prizes to take home!
